PSA turns to guided vehicles to ferry boxes

SINGAPORE, July 19 (GCTL) - PSA Singapore is taking automation to a new frontier here - moving containers within the ports. The company said on Monday that it would develop automated guided vehicles (AGVs) - still uncommon in ports around the world - and deploy them at its terminals over the next two years "under local operational conditions".
