TAIPEI, June 22 (GCTL) - To enhance competitiveness, China Airlines, Taiwan’s biggest carrier, plans to upgrade its fleet by bringing in more fuel-saving passenger planes such as Boeing 777-300ER and/or Airbus A350-1000 to replace the existing 10 Boeing 747-400s, a proposal to be finalized within two years and cost over NT$70 billion (US$2.33 billion).
