JFE, IHI agree to merge their shipbuilding units

TOKYO, Feb 1 (GCTL) - JFE Holdings Inc, Japan's second-largest steelmaker, and IHI Corp have agreed to merge their shipbuilding units to create a builder to compete with South Korean and Chinese rivals.
