China shipbuilding orders & backlog up in H1

BEIJING, Aug 13 (GCTL) - China shipbuilding's new orders and backlog orders in the first half of 2010 comprised about 46 percent and 38 percent of the global market respectively, according to latest statistics released by the China Association of the National Shipbuilding Industry on its website.
