Intra-Asia containers down 4.7% to 14.8m TEU in 2012

SINGAPORE, Feb 19 (GCTL) - Dry and reefer containers transported by major shipping companies among Japan and 11 other Asian countries and regions increased 4.7% year on year to 14.8 million TEU in 2012, accounting for approximately 60% of the overall volume of containerized shipments that they handled worldwide.
