HONG KONG, Sep 17 (GCTL) - French shipping giant CMA CGM is the latest of the new Ocean Three alliance partners to make Croatia's Port of Rijeka its first Adriatic port of call, adding to deals made with China Shipping (CSCL) and the United Arab Shipping Company (UASC).
Under the name Ocean Three, the service covers the Asia-Europe, Asia-Mediterranean, transpacific and Asia's east coast trades through a combination of vessel-sharing, slot-exchange and slot-charter agreements.
Manila's International Container Terminals Inc (ICTSI) runs the Adriatic Gate Container Terminal Rijeka for PHOEX service. This Asia-Mediterranean route has four weekly services, two to the Med, one to the Black Sea and one to the Adriatic.
