KAOHSIUNG, May 29 (GCTL) - To encourage London Metal Exchange (LME) to designate Kaohsiung harbor as a delivery harbor, Li Tai-hsing, president of Taiwan International Ports Corp. flew to London on May 26 to explain the government’s decision to grant LME the incentive of free business income tax, the Taiwan Economic Times reported, and if the proposal is accepted, LME may set up a trading center in Taiwan within this year.
