S. Korean shippers poised to shift to tonnage tax

SEOUL, Nov 24 (GCTL) - Most South Korean shipping companies are expected to pay taxes based on the tonnage of their ships operated instead of paying corporate income taxes this year, Yonhap News reported, citing an industry association spokesman.
