WTO chief urges ASEAN to rid of internal trade barriers

BANGKOK, June 4 (GCTL) - With the potential of becoming a global economic pillar, Association Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) countries need to axe trade barriers within the bloc while striving for regional integration, Pascal Lamy, director-general of the World Trade Organization (WTO) said here.
