S. China ports continue to see congestion
SHENZHEN, May 24 (GCTL) - Five container terminals at Huangpu port were reportedly congested on May 23, 2012, with waiting times ranging from 12 hours to 24 hours, a 16 hours improvement over the longest waiting time of 40 hours last week at Xinha terminal, due mainly to delays by customs clearance which in turn delayed feeder connections, according to an Orient Overseas Container Line (OOCL)advisory published at its website.
