Tazara railway to be revived with China's interest-free loan

ZAMBIA, Jan 13 (GCTL) - China has offered a $39 million interest-free loan providing a new lease of life to revive the operations of the obsolete 1,860 kilometre Tazara railway line linking Kapiri Mposhi in Zambia and the port of Dar-es-Salaam in Tanzania, Times of Zambia reported, citing officials.
