Int'l freight demand in April was down 4.2%: IATA says

GENEVA, May 31 (GCTL) - The International Air Transport Association (IATA) said the April international freight demand was 4.2% down compared with April 2011, but the slump was somewhat misleading as air freight markets slumped sharply in the first half of 2011 and bottomed out towards the end of the year.
