China Watch Blog has learnt that Dragonair will conduct its third walk-in interview session of the year this weekend (Saturday and Sunday, Dec 10 and 11) with an aim to invite more high-calibre jobseekers to join the airline’s cabin crew team.
If I were younger, I would be queuing for one of these high flying jobs. So, if you are young, why not try it.
The walk-in interview session will be held from 9:00am to 4:00pm on both days at Dragonair House. Applicants are required to register in person and present their resume during the interview (subject to a quota of 500 interviews per day).
Those who meet the recruitment requirements and pass the arm-reach test will be immediately invited for a first-round interview.
Dragonair General Manager Inflight Services Cecilia Leung said: “The aviation market is growing within the region and Hong Kong’s status as an aviation hub is becoming increasingly important to the city’s future. We anticipate that air traffic demand will continue to rise and that there will be a consistent need to strengthen our cabin crew team in line with our airline’s development.
“Dragonair offers a competitive remuneration package together with good fringe benefits to attract and retain talent. Our cabin crew members are provided with a clear career path that offers a good opportunity for advancement,” Ms Leung added.
Dragonair, an affiliate member of oneworld, is a Hong Kong-based airline operating a fleet of 32 passenger aircraft and serving 33 regional destinations, including 17 cities in Mainland China. Dragonair has been recognised for its product and service quality, and was voted for two consecutive years “World’s Best Regional Airline” in the annual World Airline Survey run by Skytrax in 2010 and 2011. Dragonair is part of the Cathay Pacific Group, providing seamless connectivity for passengers to more than 140 cities around the globe.
