China Watch Blog has learnt that some people in the mainland will do anything for a buck, and recently we heard that some culprits had injected pork water to make it heavier, and yet others injected them with toxic chemical clenbuterol.

And now we have shrimps injected with gelatin-like chemicals to make them heavier and plumper, posing a threat to public health.

With social media becoming more common in China, micro blogs have become the greatest source of scandals that damage companies’ reputations, according to a report released on Thursday.

Micro blogs have also helped ensure that news of scandals spreads faster, and with a greater reach, the report said.
