U-Freight doubles its hub size in the UK

LONDON, June 28 (GCTL) - U-Freight's subsidiary in the UK has acquired additional property near Heathrow airport, doubling the size of its existing logistics hub and HQ.

The combined office and warehouse facility of over 10,000 sq. ft of office and warehousing, at Sunbury-on-Thames is the operational headquarters of U-Freight UK Ltd, which has expanded rapidly since it was established in 1999 as U-Freight's second wholly-owned operation in Europe.

UK Managing Director, Greg Easterbrook, said: "Greater involvement in oceanfreight, continued growth in import volumes from China where U-Freight is very strong, as well as increased headcount, has meant that we have needed more office and warehousing
