OOCL drops Shekou, HK calls, adds PAX service calls

HONG KONG, Apr 12 (GCTL) - Orient Overseas Container Line (OOCL) has announced that it will cancel its port calls to Shekou and Hong Kong, while adding its calls to Shanghai and Los Angeles to the Pacific Atlantic Express (PAX) service.

The new port rotation and voyage details include: Trans-Pacific Westbound - Halifax > New York > Norfolk > Savannah > Manzanillo > Los Angeles > Oakland > Yokohama > Kobe > Kaohsiung > Yantian > Shanghai (Yangshan) > Nagoya. Westbound voyage from Halifax will commence on April 9, (London Express 70w13).

Trans-Pacific Eastbound - Kaohsiung > Yantian > Shanghai (Yangshan) > Kobe > Nagoya > Tokyo > Seattle > Oakland > Los Angeles > Manzanillo > Savannah > Norfolk > New York > Halifax. Eastbound voyage from Yantian will commence on May 9, (Seoul Express 01E19). In addition, the port call to Seattle will be switched to calling Tacoma effective from July 1.
