BEIJING, Sept 28 (GCTL) - China's Ministry of Commerce (MOC) has issued new textile export regulations, clarified details on minimum export quantities and textile export quota transfersas well as updated provisional regulations issued in July, the Shipping Gazette reported
According to the "Temporary Management Measures on Textile Export", the minimum quantity needed to qualify for an export licence is 200 pieces in terms of kilogrammes, square metres or pairs.
In addition, an enterprise with a Temporary Export Licence that did not use up all its allocation within a stipulated period, the firm will be allowed to transfer its textile export allocation, if the company returned any surplus to the MOC no later than 60 days before the end of the year when permission was granted. However, if the enterprise did not use more than 20 percent of its applied allocation and failed to return the unused portion, the MOC will cut that firm's quantity correspondingly the following year.
