TOULOUSE, France, Feb 10 (GCTL) - Airbus SAS, the world's biggest aircraft maker, won an order from International Lease Finance Corp, the world's biggest aircraft lessor, for four additional A350s, worth US$678 million at list price, the Shipping Times reported.
Airbus at the Dubai Air show on November 22 won an order from ILFC for 12 of the A350 planes, worth US$2 billion. The two A350-800s and two A350-900s, which are in addition to that order, was disclosed in Airbus' tally of January orders and deliveries published on its website.
Airbus won a total of 19 orders in the month including 14 A320s and A321s from an undisclosed customer and one A319 from a private customer, also undisclosed. Airbus is vying with Boeing Co to sell its latest generation of efficient planes to customers seeking better fuel economy.
